From Fuente to P. del Rosario (SunStar Weekend 12/6/08)

I miss

The long talks during long walks on the long road
Under dark skies with the bright stars
Amidst the smoke from belching cars
Amidst the bright lights and the “unsights”

Then the laughing while waiting
For the jeepney coming
Then going home and then sleeping

With a smile.

*Fuente (Osmeña Circle0 is a landmark and P.del Rosario is a street both in Cebu City. This poem is made inside a jeepney while missing the walks I used to do back in college when we would go home late at night.
